  1. SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS:
  2.     HP LaserJet III, IIID, IIIP or IIISi printer.
  3.     IBM PC/AT or compatible with high-density floppy drive
  4.     and 2 megabytes hard disk space and Windows 3.0
  5.     (Windows 3.0 MUST run in Standard or Enhanced mode, which
  6.      requires 1-2 megabytes of PC-RAM -- Real mode is NOT supported)

  8. BEFORE YOU INSTALL HP Intellifont for Windows 3.0
  9.  
  10. 1.  You must have already successfully installed an HP LaserJet III
  11.     printer driver in Windows 3.0
  12.  
  13. 2.  Select the HP LaserJet III on LPT1:, Active (or active port) printer
  14.     driver through Windows' Control Panel Printers menu.
  15.  
  16. 3.  Exit Windows 3.0 COMPLETELY and return to a DOS prompt (do NOT use
  17.     DOS icon in Windows).

  20. TO INSTALL HP Intellifont for Windows 3.0
  21.  
  22. 1.  Insert disk 1 into your floppy disk drive
  23.  
  24. 2.  From the DOS prompt of your floppy disk drive, type IFWSETUP and press
  25.     [ENTER].
  26.         Example:    A:>IFWSETUP[ENTER]

  28. 3.  Follow the instructions that appear on the screen to complete installation
  29.

  31. An instruction guide called IFWGUIDE.WRI will be placed in your Windows
  32. directory.  We recommend that you print this from Windows Write.
